The disclosure belongs first. Oregon Registered Agent.co is a competing registered agent service in this state, priced at $99 a year, and this page argues for us. The Swyft Filings figures are Swyft's own published pricing as of a July 2026 check, quoted without alteration.
What Quarterly Billing Is Actually Good For
Not every objection to a pricing model is a fair one. Splitting a year into four charges genuinely helps some businesses, particularly ones whose revenue arrives in bursts, and a vendor offering that option is doing something reasonable rather than something sly. Swyft Filings publishes its billing period. Nobody is being tricked.
The Unit Is a Quarter
Still, the number that gets remembered is $149, and $149 is what Swyft charges every three months for agent service.
Annualized, that is roughly $596 for a year of the same coverage other providers quote annually, with no first-year reduction that our July 2026 look could find. The difficulty is purely one of comparison. A $149 tile beside a $125 tile beside a $99 tile reads as a close race until you notice that one of the three is measured on a different clock. Put all of them on a yearly basis and the race is not close.
Oregon Runs on One Date a Year
Ready when you are. Ordering takes about five minutes.
Order HereThe state's own rhythm is worth holding up next to a quarterly one, because it is about as far from quarterly as a compliance calendar gets.
An Oregon LLC files one report a year. It is due on the anniversary of the day the company was formed, meaning your specific date, not a quarter and not a month-end. Domestic companies pay $100 for it. The state opens the filing window about 45 days early and expects the information you submit to be accurate as of 30 days before the anniversary.
And the change of registered agent, the filing this page is quietly building toward, costs nothing at all. Oregon's Business Registry fee schedule prints $0.00 in the fee column beside it, and the paper version of the form carries a "No Processing Fee" stamp in case one source was not enough. So the state's entire annual relationship with your LLC is one dated obligation at $100, plus a free correction available whenever you want it.
Four invoices for the agent, one date for the state. The mismatch is the whole argument.
Our Single Charge
One payment, once a year, $99, covering:
- An Oregon street address printed on the public record instead of yours
- Same-day scanning of anything served on us, delivered to your portal with an email behind it
- A reminder aimed at your formation anniversary, which is the only state deadline Oregon gives an Oregon LLC
- A portal holding every document that has ever come to us on your behalf, open at any hour
- $15 for each piece of general business mail we scan, listed here rather than turning up later
- The same $99 at renewal, with no quarterly equivalent hiding underneath it
Worth stating plainly, since this page is doing arithmetic: $99 is not the minimum available. BetterLegal advertises $90. Our number is among the low ones in Oregon and it arrives once a year. Set roughly $596 against $99 and the annual difference is close to $500, which is five years of our service purchased with one year of theirs.
Any Business Day, Oregon Lets You Replace Swyft Filings
There is no waiting period and no window. File the Information Change with the Corporation Division whenever you like, pay nothing, and the incoming agent's consent goes on the same form that lifts the previous name off, so the appointment never sits vacant between the two. Sign up and we prepare it during onboarding. The mechanics are on our Oregon change of agent page.
Do the Multiplication First
Ready when you are. Ordering takes about five minutes.
Order HereYou are not being asked to think badly of Swyft Filings. You are being asked to convert their quarterly figure into an annual one before you set it beside anybody else's, and then to notice that Oregon charges nothing to act on what the conversion tells you.
